The HemoCue Glucose 201+ system is designed to determine total glucose in whole blood. HemoCue Glucose Systems are based on the glucose dehydrogenase method and consist of a small, specialised analyser with a unique disposable microcuvette. The systems offer the precision and accuracy of a central laboratory, but can measure values quickly and immediately where they are needed. A fraction of a drop of blood is all it takes to get accurate results for the diagnosis and control of diabetes mellitus or the determination of glucose levels in newborns instantly and directly on-site in three simple steps with the HemoCue Glucose Systems.
