It contains no chemical preservatives, which prevents burning or itching after the examination. With a pH value of 3.7 - 4.1, Gyn-Lys has been optimally adapted to the vaginal pH value.

Gyn-Lys has good sprite behaviour and spreads very easily. The doctor carries out his examination in the usual way, but without running the risk of altering the cells in the swabs taken. This isbecause, unlike the oily lubricants used up to now, Gyn-Lys, as a water-based lubricant, does not falsify the cytological smears.
