The seca 216 has a variable scale with a measuring range of 3.5 to 230 centimetres, which can be flexibly inserted into a 138 centimetre long plastic profile. The measuring rod is simply mounted on the wall ata freely selectable height. This means: the user chooses the measuring range displayed in the profile himself # this makes the seca 216 suitable for both adults and children. Accurate reading of the result is already ensured during the measurement by a clearly visible reading window, which is positioned to the side of the measuring rod. A locking device on the head stop ensures that the result is retained even afterthe measurement.
