The Veinlite PEDI2 instrument is a handy, mobile, battery-operated fluoroscopy instrument for visualizing and locating superficial veins and blood vessels in children aged 0-17 years.

It is based on the patented "side-transillumination" fluoroscopy method. This enables uniform transillumination of the examination region without shadow formationup to a few millimeters below the skin surface.

Applications
Visualization of superficial veins and detection of suitable puncture sites for blood sampling and intravenous vein access in children, also at the scalp in very young children.

Facilitating vein access for intravenous treatments, especially in children with veins that are difficult to locate, chronically ill children with repeated intravenous treatments and obese children.

The device is suitable for different skintypes thanks to red and orange LEDs that can be switched on together or separately.
