The BD PosiFlush Irrigation System is a ready-to-use irrigation system pre-filled with 10 ml saline solution (NaCl 0.9%) for flushing intravenous catheters. With BD PosiFlush, all the requirements for intravenous catheter flushing are met by a single product: no manual drawing of the flushing solution is required, and the system can be used without preparation. Catheter-associated complications are reduced. All components of the irrigation system are specially designed to meet the requirements of optimal and effective catheter irrigation: special construction of syringe piston and cylinder to avoid syringe-induced reflux,transparent label for easy identification of the product, clearly legible scale with 0.5 ml graduation. Secure connection through BD Luer-Lok attachment. BD PosiFlush is classified as a medical device according to the European Directive 93/42/EEC. Latex-free
