HydroClean delivers Ringer's solution to the wound for up to three days. Since the wound dressing absorbs wound exudate at the same time, an interactive and continuous wound irrigation is used. The SAP used inHydroClean inactivates matrix metallo-proteases (MMPs) that interferewith wound healing, which can reactivate a stagnant healing process in chronic wounds.
